FILTER8
I’m a on-chain artist inspired by the vibrant culture of the ’80s and ’90s, driven by a passion for creativity and connection.
I started in the club scene, playing visuals live fascinated by pixel mixers and the simplicity of early digital graphics. That pixel aesthetic became the foundation of everything I create today.
When NFTs exploded in 2021, I realized most of them weren’t truly digital, they were just pointers to servers. That contradiction pulled me in. What would it mean to make art that actually lives on the blockchain?
Over the years I taught myself blockchain development and began experimenting with fully on-chain storage. High gas costs pushed me to Tezos, where I found the 8bidou community and started to explore fully on-chain pixel art there.
In 2025 I started to built my own smart contracts and founded mintbay and glyfoc a platform for deploying and collecting art that exists entirely on-chain. It began as a personal tool, then evolved into an open experiment for anyone who values permanence and provenance.
My work is about autonomy and memory, creating pieces that will remain even if everything else disappears. Each collection I deploy is an experiment in encoding emotion, color and concept directly into code.
Code is canvas. The blockchain is the gallery. Fully On-Chain is culture.
